Eight months ago, I lost my teacher and mentor, my grandfather. The day I went to see him, he could not speak, we spent his last 8 hours alone, hugged, just the two of us.

Needless to explain how much he meant to me and how much he gave me. For the first few months I was shocked by this close encounter with death, but then I decided to describe the whole day in a piece of music, a requiem. This is the hardest music I've ever written, it's hard for me to breathe while listening to it but I didn't see death as something bad and demonic, I saw how his journey began. Sad parting, but a bright flight. Love will tear us apart, again.

Love and take care of your loved ones, because it is not known how long you will be together.
